V8Q METHODOLOGY

Evidence before conviction.

What V8Q does

V8Q is a research system for identifying beaten-down equities that may be entering a durable recovery. It separates discovery from qualification: a stock can be interesting enough to research without being qualified.

Five-factor score

Recovery0–20
Quality0–20
Valuation0–20
Catalyst0–20
Liquidity0–20
Risk penaltyDeducted

When the complete certified score cannot be produced, V8Q may show an evidence-adjusted research score with explicit evidence coverage and confidence. Missing inputs are not silently scored as zero.

Qualification gates

V8Q separately evaluates drawdown, relative-strength improvement, stabilization, accumulation, fundamentals, liquidity, catalysts and event risk. Developmental companies can also be evaluated for survivability, financing risk, commercial progress and regulatory or partnership evidence.

A numeric research score does not mean the stock passed every qualification gate.

Data and reliability

Completed-session technical evidence is kept separate from current quotes. Fundamental evidence uses configured primary data with normalized filing fallback where available. Public catalyst and event research is attached to the report with source dates. Reliability validation remains fail-closed: unavailable evidence is disclosed rather than fabricated.

Research only

V8Q does not autonomously place brokerage orders. Research outputs are informational and should not be treated as personalized investment advice or a guarantee of future performance.
